I offer a complete range of lessons designed to support every student’s musical journey. Through 1‑on‑1 private instruction that blends practical playing with essential theory, following the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum and OSSD credit pathways.
Lessons are available for children, teenagers, and adults, with personalized approaches that meet each student’s goals and experience level.
Piano Programs
*Lesson structure/program, duration, and frequency is mutually agreed upon between the teacher and the student/parent.

Little Mozarts
The “Little Mozarts” program is designed for young beginners who are discovering the instrument and music in general in an easy, playful way. Teaching “Little Mozarts” focuses on introducing children to basic music‑theory rudiments, reading notes, and learning to play their first melodies. Several kid‑friendly beginner method book series, such as Faber’s Adventures, Alfred’s Basic, Bastien, and John Thompson, are used as the primary learning materials.
Royal Conservatory of Music Celebration Series Books, Levels Prep A–2, are added to the repertoire in the second year of the program to support a smooth transition into more structured study and progress toward the intermediate level.
*This program exists in an advanced format for older children and teenagers.
Recommended lesson duration & frequency: 30mins or 45mins/ week
RCM Exam Prep
RCM Certificate Program
Students who choose to follow the RCM Certificate Program prepare using the official RCM syllabus for their level. Practical piano exams can be booked once a student is fully ready; this will be mutually agreed on between the student/parent and teacher. Tests can be taken either in person or online. After Level 5, the RCM requires specific theory prerequisites to be completed alongside the practical piano exams.
Theory Lessons & Exam Prep
Theory material can be covered during regular lessons, and additional dedicated theory sessions are available for students preparing for RCM Theory Exams. The length and frequency of these lessons are determined together with the student to ensure they feel confident and fully prepared. Group theory classes may also be arranged when there is interest.
